We had Ambient Air sent to us through our home warranty company. Not real pleased with our warranty company(AHS) and how they prioritize things, but that's another story.

James came out at the scheduled time, and wasted no time replacing the blower motor in our AC unit. We were very pleased with his professionalism and being able to get the job done quickly in a boiling hot attic! He gave us a little "AC 101", tips on what we need to do to keep our AC functioning properly, when I have had other companies come out and not say much at all about what they came out for.

When Ambient Air came out, it was literally a breath of fresh air. The tech called when he was on his way and made it to the house at the beginning of our time slot. The tech, James, looked at the unit fully before letting us know that the repair was going to be quick and easy. We had cool air in our house within 30 minutes!! I am very satisfied with Ambient Air and will recommend them to anyone that asks.

Rigo was great! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and was able to fix our issue. I would've given it a 5 star review had it not been for the person who called to set up my appointment! He was NOT customer friendly and lacked basic phone etiquette by just hanging up. Not a very good first impression and it made me very skeptical as to how the technician and service would be. I am glad I had a great service experience.

Rigo was top notch! He arrived on time both times, assessed the issue thoroughly, informed me of my options, ordered the part and came back and fixed the issue with my ac/heater quickly. He has great customer service and knowledge of HVAC. Now my heater works better than before (106 out put vs 90) and runs without shaking my house and waking up my Neighbors. This was through a home warranty by AHS, of which I was certain the whole process was going to suck and not get fixed based on the many reviews here on yelp that say that. I'm so very glad it was not at all like the other AHS reviews. So glad I was compelled enough to take time and write this review, which you can see on my profile I am not big on reviewing. Just purchased an extended warranty a few months back and had James conduct one of the initial free services last month, that are included in this warranty package. James came on time, cleaned and optimized my A/C units, and was extremely thorough, explaining the process along the way. Glad I purchased the extended warranty and will be requesting James for my future services.

I have used Ambient for a couple of years. They have always shown up on time and stay in good communication with me. I recently sold my home and needed to replace my "blower wheel". "Steve" was very thorough and quick, receptive to my questions and called me to let me know exactly what the problem was.

Best and most responsive HVAC company that I have ever experienced. I had a problem unit in my last house and Ambient was out more times than anyone would have wanted, but they were always ahead of the problem and probably saved me thousands by teaching me how to handle some of the quicker/easier issues myself. I would hire them again in a heart beat!

They did a great job were very knowledgable. They got the part quickly and had our AC up and running in a couple of days.

These guys are honest and fair. Their employees stick around, which says a lot. I have had them fixing my AC units for years.

Ambient got out to my house fairly fast in a high demand peak time. My ac went down when the heat began. The tech was friendly and respectful. He diagnosed the problem and presented me with the costs. The costs were fair. He was honest and solved the problem. I wish more companies were like this. I strongly recommend these guys. was referred by my home warranty company. AC stopped working over the weekend. they were 10 min early to the appointment time and diagnosed and fixed my problem in about 30 minutes.

I I have no complaints. They were assigned to me through a home warranty service. They were able to get here within 24 hrs., they arrived perfectly on time. The technician got to work quickly and explained what was going on with the unit. Some switch was tripping because of the condensation. He got on the phone with my husband to also explained what was going on and answered all of our questions. They didn't try to "sell" me anything, which a lot of providers do. Very quick and efficient service. I'm not too sure about the price because I only pay the service fee required by my warranty service.

Excellent work, professional employees. Always on time. Including the duct cleaning. I would highly recommend this company.

It has been excellent. Starting with my daughter's condo, to my own home. They are professional and courteous. I was told by one company that my daughter's 5 year old AC unit needed to be replaced. I got a second opinion from Ambient Air and the technician told me we had the thermostat set too high. The unit couldn't do it's job. We lowered the temp to 78 and it worked perfectly. I have a three year contract for servicing my AC and heater twice a year. I know if something goes out, the home warranty people will have to fix it because of the service being done regularly. I would reccomend this company to anyone.

We have continued to call out the company that installed it and they kept telling us all of the ductwork needed to be replaced and there was nothing we could do except that. But of course that is extremely expensive. We decide to call Ambient for a free estimate to see if there was anything else that could be done. Jason came out and figured out the problem and they had someone else come out and fix it the very next day for a great price and literally 15 minutes later our office was nice and cool and has been every since!! I recommend these guys to anyone!

Just as important as finding a good mechanic, so too is finding a reputible ac/heating company. I'm not sure how I found Ambient, but I'm surely glad I did. Bought their maintenance plan three years ago. There are other local companies who charge more than double Ambient's price. We were happy with the service until the past year when the semi-annual visits averaged over $300. Then, our a/c unit broke down this past Sunday. Our unit was bottom of the line installed when the house was built about twelve years ago. Hmm, put money in an old unit or buy new?

We bought new, and bought the unit one step down from the best which meant having to buy both the a/c unit and the furnace. The 89 degree temps in the house necessitated urgency. I called two other places for estimates. One never called back, and the other guy wanted to measure rooms, estimate heat loss in the attic, evaluate upgrades in ventillation. I just wanted a/c. Adrian, from Ambient, said he could do the same, but why? Ours is a relativey new home. The old unit and furnace had worked just fine until they reached the end of their life.  The unit we bought wa$ ex$pen$ive but, when you live in the desert, you need reliable a/c. Ambient's rep, Adrian, honestly presented info and let me make the decision to buy what I did. There was no high-pressure sales pitch.

Their installers showed up as promised and did an ansolutely professional job. Because we're on their maintenance plan, we got a 10% discount, another discount because I paid cash (check), and we'll get a $1000 rebate from Trane plus a $300 tax credit for buying a unit that's listed over 16,000 SEERS. Plus, Ambient added an addition year to our service plan, not that they'll have to do anything to a new unit other than to clean coils, but still.....

While Ambient's website isn't  as impressive as D & H, the company who never got back to me, I am very satisfied with the product and the service from Ambient. One of the installers has worked with them for eight years. I didn't ask others how long they have been with the company, but I know that Adrian has been with them for at least three. Employee stability is another good sign, yes?

Regarding one of the bad reviews on here, I'd say to him, "Welcome to capitalism." If he thinks Ambient's mark up is bad, I wonder if he's ever bought bottled water.

They were the company that my home warranty sent out...they were outstanding! Professional, on time (called 30 minutes in advance) and they fixed my unit in about 10 minutes. Didn't try to up sell, didnt try and string it out just got it done and got out. Had a great conversation about my home warranty as well. I will be calling these guys for my regular services and requesting them (hopefully not) if I have a warranty problem. Well Done!

Their service was overall good but I do give them extra points for working with me on having to reschedule MULTIPLE times due to family issues! Thanks guys!

I've been using Ambient Air for several years, and at two different houses. I use their maintenance plan so they come twice a year to check the a/c and heat. I've been very pleased with the technicians that have come, and have had the same techs multiple times so their employee turnover must be low. Plus when I have an issue, they have always come the same day or next to fix it. The prices are reasonable and I feel comfortable recommending them to my friends.
